Rwanda June 2014
« on: December 20, 2013, 05:11:43 PM »
Just got my invitation for the Health Extension program in Rwanda (leave date in June)! Been searching social media for fellow PCVs and haven't found many who will be in the same country/same time.

Sooooo...anyone out there joining me in Rwanda next year?

Hey Melissa!

Welcome to the Forum, and to Peace Corps Rwanda! I'm a 3rd year Volunteer Leader here in Rwanda right now (although I'm finished in about 6 days...!). Check out the facebook groups: your group is here https://www.facebook.com/groups/396419740491840/ and the main Peace Corps Rwanda one is here https://www.facebook.com/groups/413092275465133/.

It looks like invitations for your group are still trickling through, so you should start seeing more and more on the groups and around.

Congratulations Melissa! I recently received my invitation for service in Rwanda beginning in June of this year as a community health volunteer! I look forward to meeting you along with the others in our group and I hope everything is going smoothly with your pre-departure check list!
