Which country would you select?
« on: July 06, 2014, 02:19:57 PM »
Our recruiter has asked us to rate different countries to help determine which one(s) might be best for a nomination. For us they all look interesting and each has its own appeal. If you have experience in any of the following would you share that experience with us so we can make a more informed decision. We will be teaching English or doing Community Development. The countries are: China, Eastern Caribbean, Kosovo, Micronesia and Palau, Moldova, and Mongolia Thanks!

Kosovo is new, so you would get to get in on the ground floor, which could be fun and exciting.

I served in the Balkans, and loved it (so much so that I stayed). When the Bulgaria program closed some volunteers extended service in Macedonia... it is a great region in general, and interesting (and easy) to travel around in.

Thank you. Kosovo is near the top of our list. We could both serve in the education sector, we like the cultural mix, the excitement of being in a new program, and the ability to travel in a region of Europe that is new to us.
